PRIVACY.

This news website does not require a reader account and does not run advertising or analytics scripts.

Hosting and media

Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and protect the website. Article images and videos may be hosted by their credited publishers; loading those files sends your IP address and browser request information to that host. External source links take you to the publisher's website.

Editorial accounts

Administrators sign in with an email address and password. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. The essential admin session cookie lasts for up to eight hours. Publishing API tokens are stored as hashes, and can be revoked by the administrator.

Abuse prevention

Authentication and API requests use temporary, hashed rate-limit identifiers. Expired session and rate-limit records are cleared on successful admin login. News readers are not profiled.
